Rhein Chemie’s anti-sun check waxes and antiozonants (Antilux®) are made from a blend of selected paraffins and micro-waxes that protects rubber parts against light, ozone damage and other types of weathering. .... Show more Show less

They are incorporated in the rubber compound during the mixing process, and their low solubility in the finished vulcanizates means that they migrate to the surfaces of the latter. This forms a layer of wax that physically reduces the ozone concentration on the surface of the rubber item. Typical applications for Rhein Chemie’s antiozonants include tires, conveyor belts, cables and molded/injection-molded products (profiles) used at high temperatures.

Rhein Chemie offers a wide range of antiozonants for technical applications, in particular items licensed by the BGA (German Federal Health Office) for end products used in the pharmaceutical or food industry.
